Upgrading from Home Phone Anytime to Home Phone Anytime+

  1. Mark has a Home Phone Anytime product. He decides to upgrade to Home Phone Anytime+ on October 13th 2007.
  2. He logs into the Member Centre, clicks Upgrade in the top bar and then follows the links for Home Phone. Here he can choose his new product and payment option.
  3. His upgrade to Home Phone Anytime+ happens immediately - he can use his new product straightaway.
  4. Mark is charged £5.01 to upgrade - the difference in cost between Home Phone Anytime and Home Phone Anytime+.
  5. Any inclusive minutes that Mark uses on his new product are charged pro rata on his next billing date.

Upgrading from Home Phone Anytime to Home Phone Evening & Weekends

  1. Sophie has a Home Phone Anytime product. She decides to upgrade to Home Phone Evening & Weekends on October 25th 2007.
  2. She logs into the Member Centre, clicks Upgrade in the top bar and then follows the links for Home Phone. Here she can choose her new product and payment option.
  3. Her upgrade to Home Phone Evenings & Weekends is free and happens immediately - she can use her new product straightaway.
  4. All remaining inclusive minutes that Sophie has from her old product will be lost. However, she can now make free calls between 6pm to 8am Monday to Friday and 6pm Friday to 8am Monday.

Upgrading from Home Phone Evenings & Weekends to Home Phone Anytime+

  1. Bob has a Home Phone Evening & Weekends product. He decides to upgrade to Home Phone Anytime+ on October 18th 2007.
  2. He logs into the Member Centre, clicks Upgrade in the top bar and then follows the links for Home Phone. Here he can choose his new product and payment option.
  3. His upgrade to Home Phone Anytime+ happens immediately - he can use his new product straightaway.
  4. Bob is charged £5.01 to upgrade - the difference in cost between Home Phone Evening & Weekends and Home Phone Anytime+.
  5. Any inclusive minutes that Bob uses on his new product are charged pro rata on his next billing date.

Downgrading from Home Phone Anytime+ to Home Phone Evening & Weekends

  1. Joanne has a Home Phone Anytime+ product. She decides to downgrade to Home Phone Evening & Weekends on October 21st 2007.
  2. She logs into the Member Centre, clicks Upgrade in the top bar and then follows the links for Home Phone. Here she can choose her new product and payment option.
  3. Her downgrade to Home Phone Evening & Weekends happens at the end of the period she has paid up until.
  4. Joanne is charged a downgrade fee of £14.99. This is taken by a one-off credit card payment.

Upgrading from Home Phone products to PlusNet Essential

If you're wanting to move from Home Phone Anytime + or Home Phone Evening & Weekends to PlusNet Essential (bundled broadband and Home Phone), we class this as as an upgrade. You should raise a Question to out Support Team telling them which product you'd like to move from and when you'd like to move.

Changing Call Features

  1. Mark wants to add Voicemail Extra to his account.
  2. He logs into the Member Centre and goes to the Home Phone control panel.
  3. He clicks the Call Features tab.
  4. He selects the Voicemail Extra option and clicks 'Add Features'.
  5. As the charge for Voicemail Extra is less than £3 the amount will be added to his next Home Phone payment.
  6. 3 days later, his new Voicemail Extra service is available. Orders for extra features take 1 working day to be added or removed. Any order involving a change to voicemail, or the addition or removal of voicemail, will take 3 working days to process.
