Stuff you need to know

1. Why 'up to' 8Mb?

• Broadband is described as 'up to' 8Mb because download speeds will vary depending on your telephone line and location.
• Actual download speeds can reach a maximum of 7Mb, with an average speed of 5-6Mb. BT Wholesale estimates that 78% of
  customers will achieve download speeds of 4Mb and above.
• It is likely that speeds no greater than 2Mb will be achieved at peak usage times due to contention in our network and our suppliers'
  networks.
• Download speeds will vary significantly in the first 10 days after connection and then will become more consistent.

2. Included calls can only be made to standard UK landline numbers beginning with 01 & 02. Evenings: 18:00-08:00 Mon-Fri. Weekends: 18:00 Fri - 08:00 Mon. All calls are subject to minimum charges. All inclusive calls have a maximum free call length of 60 minutes for 01 and 02 numbers and 30 minutes for international numbers. After this they will be charged at the standard prevailing rate.
